Shahrzad series russian2/11/2023 ![]() It was very good and a very large portion - I was unable to finish it. For my entree I decided to try one of the stews (the Ghormeh Sabzi) with with lamb, coriander, onions and dried lime. ![]() The bread served with these dishes was quite different and very good. To start we ordered several traditional Arabic dishes including hummus, moutable and Kashk Bademjan (fried eggplant with onions, yoghurt and mint). Shortly after ordering we were brought a large plate of vegetables to snack on together with a small bowl of yoghurt - a nice touch. The menu had a large selection of dishes with many hot and cold appetizer offerings, traditional Persian stews, kebabs and rice dishes. ![]() It had doors which were kept shut during dinner which made for a great dining experience. ![]() It wasn't and we were led to a very private booth located on a tiny terrace overhanging the lobby area (located one floor up). When we arrived at the restaurant at 8:00pm we were a little surprised to find all of the carpets rolled up and staff mopping the floor - we thought the restaurant was closed. ![]() We read great things about Shahrzad and we really wanted to try some authentic Persian dishes during our trip to Dubai. ![]()
